Geology :

The kaolinized zones of study area are alteration products of dacitic-rhyodacitic volcanic rocks of Eocene age. The most of these rocks, plagioclase, orthoclase and quartz phenocrysts setting in porphyritic matrix. Strong advanced argillic, moderate to strong silicification, silicic-serisitc and weak propylitic alterations are the most important alteration zones in the study area. Based on the mineralogical studies, clay minerals, quartz, serisite, epidote and chlorite and also Based on analytical results,quartzn, orthoclase, Albite, illite, kaolinite and pyrophyllite are mineral phases in these zones. Hydrothermal acidic solutions to play a significant role in the formation and development of this Kaoline reserve.
